New Public Toilets – Bring Temporary Relief
People are ‘busting’ to talk about the new public toilets installed in Cavill Avenue, Surfers Paradise. They are on trial to curb the public urination problem in the area. But ‘hold on’….aren’t these public toilets a little too public? What is the difference between standing up against a wall versus standing up in the middle of a mall with friends to chat with? Sure, the shop windows and flowerbeds will no longer cop a free watering but has this new concept become the Gold Coast’s new ‘no.1’ attraction?
I have no idea of the hygiene standards of these new toilets but I am sure the council will be ‘washing their hands’ of any public controversy.
My next question is “Are the ladies catered for as well?” It has been long overdue that the ladies are forced to stand on toilet lines waiting for cubicles just about EVERYWHERE. I would imagine that the venues that fix this problem will reap the rewards.
